These are my rates when you book directly through me. Everyone always asks me why I have my rates this low, and at first some fear that it shows that I am a poor guide. In fishing, price has no relation with quality. Fishing is fishing no matter who you choose, but here are my reasons why my rates are this low. First reason, I have no overhead, and if you know him your will understand I am on the Dave Ramsey plan. I dont fish from a $65,000 ranger boat or drive a brand new pickup truck. I have a 9 year old vehicle and a 16 ft nitro that has been paid off for over 2 years. It's a lot easier to make a living with my rates when you don't have very much debt especially $100,000 tied up on a boat and vehicle. Second, I don't spend any money on advertising, I have a strong list of returning clients and referral clients that come back year after year. Third, the economy is worst then ever and many people can't afford $300 for a 4 hr charter. I love the fact that I can take out a father and son fishing. Afterwards, the father thanks me after because they had a awesome time and it didnt break his wallet. Creating these moments is what I am about. Finally, my life is shortened dramatically because of having Cystic Fibrosis, and now that I am a father, I understand how important it is to bond and create those special moments. I take my business and fishing very seriously but I love having fun and watching you catch fish, thats why I do this. Eventually my disease will catch up with me and I will no longer be able to fish at all, but until then, my goal is to make sure my clients have fun and remember their experience for a long time.
