Florida Freshwater Fishing Licenses: A Florida Freshwater Fishing License is required to fish any of Florida's Lakes. Have your credit card handy. Call Florida Freshwater Fish and Game Commission directly at 1-888-347-4356. There is a $3.95 processing fee for the convenience of ordering by phone. We recommend that you get your license as early as possible, at least 2 weeks in advance of your guide trip. Don't forget to bring your license with you -- or the identification number they give over the phone - when you come to Florida.

Nonresident 7 day license --------- $16.50

Summer Guide Trips: Summertime fishing is most productive during the morning hours. That's when the bass are very active. Around midday, the water temperatures are at their highest and the bass lose interest in feeding. So in summer, I only fish for four or six hours. We do not offer 8 hour trips until fall.
