Jessica Newport (age 23)

I'm a 23 year young student attending the University of South Florida for Environmental Policy and Geography. I was diagnosed with CF at 21 months and CF-related diabetes when I was 12. My mother has given me my philosophy of life, "Be determined, not defeated." As I wait for a double lung transplant , this motivates me to enjoy the little things and make the best of what crosses my path. I was listed on May 6, 2009, and hope to get the call when it is the right time for me.
