Tait Campbell (age 21 months)

Tait was born January '08 and seemed perfectly healthy. No meconium ileus, no breathing issues. So it hit us like a ton of bricks 5 weeks later, when his pediatrician called and told us the news. We took him in for a sweat test , and again, heartbreaking news. Since then it's been rough going, hospitalizations, medications, trying to keep him safe. But he's a strong-willed little boy, and we're so glad to have him in our lives. Again, thank you for this, people need to be aware of the struggle thousands upon thousands of people face daily.
